EL LAZO ÍNTIMO CON SRILA GURUDEVA

Había estado experimentado cómo de difícil era continuar cantando y realizando las actividades regulativas del bhakti fuera de la asociación de Gurudev y fuera del Santo Dhama. Necesitaba influencias favorables para mantener la inspiración y entusiasmo para mis actividades diarias de sadhana-bhajan. Entonces, la raíz de sadhana-bhajan es cantar el maha-mantra, así que le pregunté a Gurudev cómo yo podría cantar en el occidente con entusiasmo, inspiración, fuerza, y confianza. También quise saber cómo yo podría mantener la misma energía que sentía cuando yo estaba asociándome directamente allí con Él en el Math. En ese punto Gurudev empezó a instruirme más acerca de cantar el harinama, sobre todo en separación.
Gurudev comparó al devoto con un niño en el útero de la madre, conectado íntimamente a la madre por el cordón umbilical. Toda la nutrición que el niño necesita viene a él a través de ese cordón. Además, todos los desechos del cuerpo del niño entran en la sangre del niño, y esa sangre impura entra a través de ese cordón en el cuerpo de la madre.
La madre se libra de esas impurezas, aunque el niño no es consciente de las impurezas o cómo la madre se libra de ellos.
Gurudev dijo que la japa-mala que nosotros recibimos en el momento de la iniciación es como un cordón umbilical que nos conecta a Gurudev. En otras palabras, nuestro sadhana es como una conexión a Gurudev y así como el niño recibe su nutrición a través del cordón umbilical, entonces la nutrición que nosotros necesitamos viene a nosotros de Gurudev a través de nuestro sadhana y cantando el harinama. Nuestros anarthas también salen por el mismo proceso de cantar el japa,
a través de esta conexión con Gurudev.
Gurudev dijo que el niño en el útero realmente no puede ver a su madre, porque se encuentra tan profundamente e íntimamente dentro del útero de la madre que es parte del cuerpo de la madre. A través del medio de ese cordón, lo que la madre está respirando y comiendo está sosteniendo al niño.
“Entonces ", dijo Gurudev , "Debes ver a tu japa así. Cuando estás tomando el harinama debe sentir que tu conexión a Gurudev es profundamente íntima, que no puedes ni verlo siquiera. ¿Y por qué no? Porque él esta profundamente y tan íntimamente conectado, que no está separado o fuera de ti dónde podrías verlo con tus ojos. Usted está dentro de Gurudev, y él está nutriéndola, para que no puedas ni verlo. Debes meditar que tu conexión es así".
Para que Gurudev explicara eso, en primer lugar yo debo tener la convicción firme en su amor, afecto, y su presencia. Entonces yo debo realizar mi sadhana con la convicción que está conectando y uniéndome íntimamente con él.
Gurudev dijo que si nuestro sadhana es bueno, entonces nuestro sentimiento de conexión con él será muy fuerte y poderoso, y entonces nosotros no nos sentiremos desesperados. El sentimiento de desesperanza viene cuando nuestro sadhana está bajando. Si ese sentimiento horrible, solitario, y desesperado viene, entonces nosotros debemos buscar en nuestro sadhana y ver donde está la falta.
Él dijo que si nuestro sadhana es fuerte, entonces nuestra meditación y la práctica serán tan fuertes que nuestros sentimientos de separación serán positivos, y proveerán combustible a nuestro fuego de amor
